Interview With An Elder

This activity asks students to spend time talking with a grandparent or elder member of the community to learn more about how our relationships with food may have changed over time. The goal of the activity is to help students learn about changes in the way people ate or got their food in the past. It will also help students practice interviewing skills that include asking questions, listening intently, taking notes, and writing what they hear.
